Crabocado

Vietnamese Crabocado Wraps with sweet & sour dipping sauce. Why we love it: We've yet to meet anyone who doesn't adore rice paper wraps, but we tend to eat them on the rare occaisions we go to a Vietnamese restaurant - which is a shame, because they're so easy to make at home. You can use whatever you like as a filling, but our absolute favourite is this crab and vocado duo, served with an authentic sweet-and-sour dipping sauce.

Four or five types of a la carte tacos and tapas, like the shrimp doughnut, are planned. Traci and Kurt have also been using Coattails to test out dishes for Caracara; falafel bao and “crabocado nachos” were big hits.

Start with the Monkey Bread: warm brioche twists with a bourbon walnut caramel glaze. Then try the crispy pork hash with carnitas and crispy spuds or the Crabocado Benny with lump crab, avocado, spinach, poached eggs and hollandaise on an English muffin with skillet potatoes.

Oh, je ne sais pas expliquer, like a sort of cold-hot, crabocado pie? Wicked.
