Cryophobia

You see, Dr. Olsen still harbors a bit of cryophobia, wheras I am absolutely convinced that exposure to cold is never injurious to one’s health, no matter how much discomfort one may suffer during such exposure.

My two kids dig snow. Son Jason loves talking about it and running around looking out the window at it. But he won’t set foot in for long because I think he inherited Beryl’s cryophobia.

His cryophobia, or fear of the cold, would later find expression in his short story “Cool Air.”
