Friendsies

“Piers and I became friendsies in our way,” Maurice continued, smiling implacably, “two, three times a week. Always the same format in the hall.[…]”

Wave bye-bye to our friendsies, Mr. Babbitt, and think naughty bunny thoughts all day.

“No biscuits,” snapped the proprietress. “Your military friendsies scarfed ’em all up. For ’emselves.”

“Listen,” he hesitated, “about what I said before. I didn’t mean to offend you,” he said, not exactly apologizing. But before he could finish, she interjected. “Friendsies?” she winked, coyly.

We’re gonna meet up with our friendsies.

The entire book writing process would have been miserable if I could not regularly hang out with my friendsies (as I call them).

This lunch is peaches and cream. Best friendsies.
