Furcon

Going to a Furcon is not a cure for depression or misery et al. If you are depressed, you need to solve the cause of your depression or misery et al. goiing to a furcon is like sticking your head in the sand and it only makes it worse in the end.

One of my friends told me a little about the midwest furcon last year. But I didn't get to go due to traveling problems at the time. I have a few questions about it before deciding whether to try for this years furcon or not.

I hope that it be a case of "full board or nothing", though, since that price would be way out of reach for a lot of furs, and would also scare off many of those for whom it was their first furcon - something that seems quite likely in a country where we haven't had one before! If you're new to furcons and want to see if you like them, you don't want to go spending that amount of money straight away.

I saw an announcement somewhere about a new furcon to be held later this year in Elizabeth NJ across the road from Newark Airport. (Close to where ConFurence East was held in 1995.) Anybody have any more info on this?
