Shitify

Another pub in the middle of town, a bit crummy but with a decent enough atmosphere and an interesting history, also caused a big fuss a few years ago when a chain of Plastic Oirish Pubs'R'Us that no Irishman would be seen dead in took the place over and shitified it.

It's hard to remember now, what with the second and third movies retroactively shitifying the first, but the first two acts of "The Matrix" are pretty damn wicked: great action, Lawrence Fishburn^([sic]) acting all weird, some nifty near-Cronenberg-esque body horror elements, and some hints that this might be the first big budget Hollywood movie to really understand Phil Dick, all mixed in with a generous helping manga/anime flava.

The problem with that idea was the bane of every kilnworker producing gallery quality work--crap landing on your work. Even a slight breeze can stir up refractory dust from the primer or brick and shitify the piece.

No, it's an OS vendor that is doing things to aid people that want you to only see a shitified version of the content you paid good money for in the first place.
