Spell-master

The mesmerist often displays his magical power over his patients by throwing his mind into the mind of the patient—by imparting to him his impressions—by making him speak what he commands and do what he directs. The normal resistance of the patient is overcome by the stronger will, and his imagination bows to the spell-master who entrances him.

In Ireland, smiths were credited with having supernatural powers and with being spell-masters into comparatively recent times.

That is about it; wander round, fight monsters, search the corridors for hidden gems – useful for spell-masters – and other treasures and make your way through the ever-increasing difficulty of deeper levels.

She has also drilled her sisters, Annabella, 6, and Ailsa, 8, so convincingly that Annabella put on a pretend spelling bee, playing the role of spell-master, judge and speller, all captured on videotape by Mom.

The spell-master says the word, use it in a sentence and repeats the word; then the teams have 30 seconds to spell the word on their whiteboards. At the sound of a gong, teams hold up their boards and the spell-master gives the correct spelling. The spell-master may advance to progressively tougher words as the event goes on.

The contestants knew if their word was incorrect or correct by looking at the red or green lights behind the spell-master.
