Usernamed

A few weeks ago a reader usernamed Sparling made his entrance into the newsgroup with a post: Duncan could kick Conner's a**!!!. He made some people laugh, some people angry and certainly got noticed. Since then he's settled down quite a bit.

To make use of the home directory shares, your Windows usernames and passwords must match up with their counterparts on the Linux server. For instance, to use the root user share, you must have a root user with the same password on your Windows computer. (If you create a usernamed root on your Windows computer, it will have no special privileges.)
