No stranger to these situations, Yangilmau wrote the song for her play “Vajungle,” a show meant to resonate with the tragedy of sexual assault and the challenges that victims like her friend face afterwards.

Taming your vajungle is a personal choice entirely, and if you choose not to do any sort of grooming down there, that’s fine. But if you decide to groom yours like a vaginal topiary, or just take it all off, then you probably have a grooming regimen.

Towson seemed to be exactly the right place to foster her two greatest passions: social activism and theatre. Ultimately those two passions led her to write her own play, Vajungle, which explores the complexities of being a sexual assault survivor.
